Demand for ABS in India grew 4.6% a year from 2017-18 to 2025-26 and will keep rising as the middle class spends more on home appliances and cars; SAN grades will gain too, led by consumer and industrial applications. Styrenix Performance Materials Ltd (formerly INEOS Styrolution India Ltd) and Bhansali Engineering Polymers Ltd are the major producers of ABS & SAN, and Supreme Petrochem started its first 70,000 TPA ABS line at Amdoshi, Maharashtra, in September 2025.
