Data shows that more capacity addition is lined up for benzene during 2015 and since domestic consumption is not showing any signs of improvement, exports will continue to grow. According to our analysis, the CAGR of exports will continue to post robust growth in 2015 and onwards.

About 30% of the benzene produced in India goes into production of LAB and this end use segment is showing signs of growth. There is overcapacity of LAB in the domestic market and new capacities are not expected to come up just yet.
