Chongqing Kabeile has brought on-stream its methanol plant located in Chongqing province of China.
The company has resumed operations at the methanol plant last week. The plant was shut for maintenance on in end-December, 2018.
The methanol plant has a production capacity of 850,000 mt/year.

The prices of C9 solvent have been on a downtrend since the end of the previous month. At present, the bulk price ex- Kandla has stabilized at levels of Rs 55 per kg, exclusive of all taxes, a fall of Rs 10/kg from the previous week.
It's expected that the price of C9 solvent is expected to decline further in the near term on account of a lull in demand from the most end-user segments.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced a downward price revision for MEG with effect from Saturday, December 1, 2018.
According to a reliable source, the company cut the price of MEG down by Re 1.30/kg basic. The current basic price is Rs 55.10/kg.

Mumbai styrene prices were assessed at Rs 112/kg for imported repack, Ahmedabad prices at Rs 115/kg for Imported repack and in Delhi at Rs 113/kg respectively. Producers are increasing their Ex-work prices on week- on- week basis.

Ortho-Xylene prices were found higher in South Korea and South East Asia. The prices recorded were: CFR SE Asia - USD 870/ton and CFR South Korea - USD 870/ton, while Rotterdam OX prices were found stable last week.
