RIL, JFB Industries and ASPET raise PET prices with effect from November 12, 2020.

The new rates are

Formaldehyde prices have increased today  indicating a shortage of supply with a growing demand of 30%.

The company is currently operating its plant at 100% of production capacity levels.

The company recently halted operations at the unit for a maintenance turnaround.

The company has increased run rates at the plant to 90-95% of production capacity levels.

Lotte BP Chemical has brought on-stream its Vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) unit following an unplanned outage.

The price rise was a result of firmer upstream crude and gasoline values, coupled with improved regional demand trends.
