Fire at Haldia Petrochemicals injures at least 20; naphtha-handling infrastructure under investigation – 7 Jul 2026

Emergency services were called to the Haldia complex on June 30 after a significant fire in process infrastructure. Several of the injured are reported to be in serious condition; no cause has been confirmed.
