RCF’s Nano-Urea modernization faces scrutiny over pollution load, not capacity growth – 29 Jun 2026

The company is keeping Nano-Urea capacity unchanged at 27,375 kilolitres per annum, but wants to raise nitrogen content from 4% to 20%. That makes the proposal less about volume expansion and more about whether a formulation change can quietly increase the environmental load inside one of Mumbai’s most sensitive industrial belts.
