Wanhua's PO restart will ripple into Indian polyurethane costs – 12 Jun 2026

The 600,000-tonne propylene oxide unit at Penglai is back after 46 days, with Chinese PO near RMB 9,100 a tonne and a slide toward RMB 8,800 in prospect as supply rebuilds. India's polyether polyol and PU foam chain prices off the Chinese marker — softer PO lands directly in import parity within weeks.
