CARBIOS, Wankai finalise PET biorecycling JV: Commissioning set for Q1FY27 – 4 Jun 2026

CARBIOS and Wankai New Materials have signed the definitive agreement for a joint venture to construct a 50,000-tonne PET biorecycling plant in Haining, Zhejiang, with commissioning targeted for Q1FY27. The deal grants CARBIOS exclusive rights to license its enzymatic depolymerisation technology across Asia for three years.
