HOCL shuts Kochi H2O2 plant: RM spike meets weak demand – 4 Jun 2026

Hindustan Organic Chemicals has idled its Kochi hydrogen peroxide plant with effect from 3 June 2026, citing a significant rise in raw material prices and low market demand occurring at the same time. As the only government-owned H2O2 producer in India, HOCL's exit is a live supply signal for paper, textile and water treatment buyers.
