India-Oman preferential tariff in force from 1 June 2026 : Chemicals and petrochemicals importers should review CHEMEXCIL-mapped HS codes for duty savings – 3 Jun 2026

The Government of India has notified preferential customs duty treatment for goods imported from Oman, effective 1 June 2026, covering concessional basic customs duty, AIDC reductions and tariff rate quota provisions. CHEMEXCIL has already compiled the relevant HS codes for chemical and petrochemical product categories.
