Three-year ONGC Hazira–Uran pipeline exposure protection contract: Will it hold up? – 25 Nov 2025

ONGC has closed its three-year tender for covering pipeline exposures at Hazira and Uran–Trombay with Yojaka India Private Limited in the L1 seat at Rs 7.97 crore.

The award hands one contractor full responsibility for gabion-heavy protection, river-crossing covers and sacrificial bunds around operating high-pressure pipelines, with ONGC supplying no material.

How that price holds against tides, monsoons, access risks and inspection-heavy obligations will decide whether this becomes a template or a cautionary tale.
