1) This PFCCU licensor hunt sets 18% propylene bar
The refinery licensor tender hard-codes a petrochem-first PFCCU with an 18 wt% propylene target and a firm naphtha cap. The second, gasoline-maximizing mode preserves flexibility across product cycles. Thet dual-objective design will test licensors’ severity windows and prU integration quality.
Recovery spans PFCCU LPG and 6,550 kg/h DCU LPG, feeding downstream PP. Polymer-grade specs make separation and hydrogen balance non-negotiable. Licensors’ prU schemes will be scrutinized for energy integration and off-gas handling.
Catalyst lineage and commercial grass-root references are mandatory, with a 24-week BEDP clock.
2) Firm-price licensor race for HDPE unit tightens deliverables
BPCL’s licensor bid for the Andhra Pradesh HDPE unit hard-locks firm prices and strict schedule acceptance. Catalyst metals are carved out to published indices, but base costs must stay fixed. A five-year improvements clause and RBI-rate NPV conversion reshape how bidders price and promise.
3) Cumene licensor: EMD cut; pre-bid moved
BPCL has slashed the bid security and shifted the pre-bid window for its cumene licensor selection. The virtual remittance ID has also been corrected. The commercial gates are lower, but the qualification proofs remain.
4) Pre-bid rescheduled to 28 Oct, platform switched to webex in BPCL Andhra Pradesh phenol unit licensor selection
BPCL and EIL have shifted the phenol unit licensor pre-bid to 28 October at 11:00 IST and moved it to Webex. Bid due and unpriced opening timelines remain unchanged. The small change could still alter how licensors frame guarantees and service envelopes
