Licensor-only PSA scope pins test-run and control-logic upgrades – 25 Aug 2025

One company has been invited for this Bongaigoan Refinery HGU PSA. And this looks like a broader trend in PSU refining projects: directly lining up original package licensors for sensitive sub-units (here, PSA for naphtha to LNG swtich) even when the parent HGU was licensed by a different entity.

This reduces interface risk during feed rationalisation and BS-VI era tweaks. The addition of CPI-IW indexation with a published base (141.175) indicates a maturing template for specialist service deployment where cost-of-service exposure is real in remote locations like Dhaligaon.

The payoff lies in whether licensor-led test runs can consistently deliver the documented hydrogen recovery and purity bands.
