Oil exploration in Tripura clears EAC hurdle – 22 Jul 2025

The proposed onshore oil and gas exploratory drilling at OSTA in South Tripura has received environmental clearance from the EAC.
With a 3,000-meter target depth, the project aims to probe the Bhuban and Bokabil formations, potentially boosting regional hydrocarbon prospects.
