Kakinada granulation push gears up: Coromandel bets Rs.500 Cr on NPK-led northward expansion
Coromandel’s brownfield expansion at Kakinada enters execution phase with a Rs.500 Cr investment to commission a 7.5 lakh TPA NPK line by early 2027. Backed by state incentives and aligned with captive acid capacity, the project is set to make Kakinada India’s largest integrated phosphatic fertiliser complex, reducing DAP import dependence and targeting growth in underpenetrated northern markets.
