IOCL EPCC-15: Vapour recovery unit to deploy twin-condensation with nitrogen sweep – 28 May 2025

VRU will recover propane and butane using staged condensation at -10°C and -40°C with nitrogen purging. This eliminates VOC loss at the storage terminal and enhances LPG recovery yield. Mandated by Toyo’s process licensor package and cross-referenced in PMC final P&IDs .
Each 6.6 kV and 415 V PCC uses two incomers and a bus coupler with auto/manual failover and 5–10 sec time delay.
Class A carbon steel welds to be 100% radiographed; Class D alloy pipes must undergo positive material identification.
