Phosphoric Acid &Sulphuric Acid Greenfield Project

Cost: Rs. 1800Cr.

Project Event: The Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the EPC contractor has not yet been issued but is expected to be released in the month of August 2025. In parallel, GSFC has initiated the vendor selection process for major equipment, including sulphur combustors, converters, absorbers, rotary dryers, and pollution control systems. Technical evaluation and specification finalization are currently underway for key packages. Due to extended engineering timelines and pending capital approval, the project’s expected commissioning date has now been revised to 2027.

Urea Revamp Project

Cost: Rs. 450Cr.

Project Event:The evaluation of consultants for the feasibility study is in the final stages, with selection expected by July 2025. Preliminary groundwork is progressing steadily, supported by the sanctioned term loan of ₹300 crores from HDFC Bank. Key ongoing activities include site-specific technical assessments, regulatory coordination, and environmental compliance processes. SPIC remains aligned with the gas pool mechanism and is focusing on optimizing the transition to expanded gas-based operations.
