Project Event: The feasibility study has been completed. The company has shortlisted bidders and is in the final stages of awarding the Basic Engineering and Design Engineering (BEDP) contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP) for long-lead equipment such as boilers, compressors, and storage tanks is expected to be floated in Q3 2025.

Coal based Ammonia-Urea & Coal Handling Plant Greenfield Project

Cost: Rs. 7484Cr.

Project Event:The project is currently on hold due to an internal strategic review and ongoing assessments regarding feedstock availability, coal logistics infrastructure, and the market demand outlook. The company is also awaiting regulatory clearances and environmental approvals, which are critical for proceeding with further execution stages.

Smart Factory Project

Cost: Rs. 550 Cr.

Project Event: Honeywell and KBR have completed most of the integration work for advanced process control systems and AI/ML modules. Final-phase testing of predictive maintenance algorithms and real-time diagnostics is underway across all nitric acid units. The teams are currently optimizing first-principles modeling and refining process insights from trial runs. Cybersecurity protocols have entered the final audit stage, ensuring robust digital safety. With these developments, the project remains firmly on track for phased commissioning beginning late 2025, with full completion expected by mid-2026.

Ammonium Sulphate Green field Project

Cost: Rs. 800Cr.

Project Event:The Detailed Feasibility Report (DFR) study, being prepared by Chemept Solutions, is in the final stages and on track for completion by the end of Q2 2025. In parallel, the company is finalizing the scope for the upcoming RFQs related to the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and EPC contractors, which are now expected to be floated in June 2025. The company is also reviewing initial technical configurations and site integration strategies to ensure alignment with existing infrastructure.
