NRL allows global leadership for refinery overhaul consultancy – 22 May 2025

After pushback from bidders, NRL has agreed to consider Lead Partner profiles from outside India,provided they bring RPIP or digitalization experience in global refineries.

NRL has accepted several bidder suggestions including team rotation, NDA facilitation, and accommodation provision, while rejecting calls for relaxing experience and education norms.

In response to concerns over refinery data confidentiality, NRL confirms that the consultant will define benchmarking metrics using industry-accepted methodologies.
