Ammonia-Urea Brownfield Project

Cost: Rs.10601Cr.

Project Event: The Government has announced the formation of a new joint venture company to revamp the ailing Namrupfertilizer plants. The Government of Assam will hold a majority 40% stake. In comparison, Oil India Ltd and National Fertilizers Ltd will each hold 18%, Hindustan Urvarak&Rasayan Ltd 13%, and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Ltd 11%. This move marks a major step forward after decades of efforts to revive India’s first natural gas-based fertilizer plant. RFQ for feasibility study consultant is likely to be released in Q2, 2025.

DAP/NPK Greenfield Project

Cost: Rs.300Cr.

Project Event:The project remains in the initial stage. While earlier activities were on hold, preliminary discussions have recently resumed between the stakeholders. A formal project schedule and tendering process are anticipated to be finalized in the coming months.

Urea Synthesis Reactor Revamp Project

Cost: Rs.100Cr.

Project Event: The RFQ for the supply of the Urea Synthesis Reactor has been reissued, with the bid due date now extended from April 28 to May 30, 2025, due to a lack of suitable bidders. ISGEC, L&T, and Fabtech Projects had shown interest in the previous bidding round.

DAP Expansion Project

Cost: Rs.649Cr.

Project Event:The company has submitted the required modifications and clarifications to the environmental clearance (EC) authority and is awaiting approval. Meanwhile, preparation for tendering activities is underway. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) for selecting the LSTK contractor has been issued. Bidding and evaluation processes are expected to continue over the next few months.
