Contract lets OIL add drilling units without re-bidding – 25 Apr 2025

The tender allows up to two more drilling service sets to be added within a year, without triggering a new bid process—subject to mutually agreed rates capped at the original award

And what it does is to relax the requirement of sourcing some materials form brands such as NOV, Derrick, and Swaco, allowing ‘substantially equivalent’ makes instead. This could open doors for lower-cost or local vendor
