NHPC faces issues with solar policy changes – 24 Mar 2025

NHPC has secured a solar tariff ranging from Rs. 2.52/kWh to Rs. 2.53/kWh for its 3000 MW solar projects

However, the projects now face financial headwinds due to rising Customs Duty, Anti-Dumping Duty (ADD), and GST hikes, which could significantly increase project costs and delay execution.
