The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has introduced an innovative tender for 2.7 MW grid-connected floating solar projects equipped with battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Lakshadweep.

This project, operating under the RESCO model, spans Agatti and Kavaratti Islands and aims to decrease dependence on diesel power, providing clean, reliable, and sustainable energy for the area.
