Ammonia-Urea Brownfield Project

Cost: Rs. 16372Cr.

Project Event: The project has achieved 66.02% completion, with OSBL packages (excluding Coal Gasification & Ammonia Urea) at 77.62%. In the February 2025, review meeting, WECL submitted the project completion plan along with a three-month outlook. A list of 10-12 vendors has been finalized for pending payments, and an engineering team led by the Engineering Manager has been mobilized to the Talcher site for coordination with TFL & PDIL to resolve pending engineering issues. TFL is closely monitoring the completion plan, ensuring continuous engagement with WECL management to resolve issues immediately. Additionally, regular coordination meetings involving top management of promoter companies are being conducted for project review

Urea Reactor (R1) and Carbamate Condenser Unit Revamp Project

Cost: Rs. 200 Cr.

Project Event:AquaGreen Tech Solutions, Civil Connect (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., J.B. Construction, Parshuram Constructions, and Yashoda Constructions are competing for the construction of the RCC foundation for P-1 foundation (11 and 21 units), the instrument air compressor foundation, and allied works. Additionally, the bid due date for the inspection of the Urea Stripper (11E1) and Carbamate Condenser (31E5) in the Urea Plant has been extended from February 24 to March 3, 2025.
