ONGC's lookout for consultants: Lukewarm response? – 15 Jan 2025

Under Arun Kumar Singh, CEO of ONGC has caused a dramatic shift in its procurement policies

There is a design engineering consultant which has now been brought in, to double up on the engineering work before a bid is taken out, and then to work with the company to assist in the bidding process and then to go on and supervise the job too

Most ONGC jobs had no FEED before, so now bidders will get a better idea on their bid price with a FEED in hand

There should ideally be a big rush for the job of such consultants in India

But the response has been lukewarm
