Mixed Xylene (MX) prices drop in Mumbai market – 11 Oct 2024

There has been a notable drop in Mixed Xylene (MX) prices in Mumbai’s domestic market, as reported by Indian Petrochem analysts. As of October 11, 2024, the price of MX, which is widely used as a solvent and in various industrial applications like adhesives, printing inks, and sealants, fell from Rs.83/kg to Rs.80.5/kg, reflecting a reduction of Rs.2.5/kg. MX also finds applications in creating ice baths for vessels, among other uses
