Why is there a slump in gas sales in August?
Total gas consumption grew significantly in the April-August period, driven by strong performances in sectors like power, CGD, and others.
However, both the year-on-year and month-on-month comparisons for August show declining consumption, indicating weaker demand in the month of August 2024 compared to both August 2023 and July 2024.
