What centralization of purchases has done is the consolidate the requirements of the different assets under one scope of work

You could have an E&P process that can be needed in Gujarat and then also in the North East

So that is getting consolidated whereas earlier every asset would come out with its own requirement

Also, suppliers will need to have more bandwidth, catering to fields which can be a thousand miles apart
