Mumbai chemical market has witnessed a significant jump in the prices of 1,4-butanediol, a key raw material used in the production of plastics, elastic fibres and solvents. The price of 1,4-butanediol increased by Rs 2/kg to Rs 182/kg on September 9, 2024, from Rs 180/kg quoted on September 2, 2024
