Mumbai market quotes lower DOTP prices – 23 Aug 2024

Today, the Mumbai chemical market witnessed significant changes in the price of dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP), driven by the interplay of fluctuating raw material costs, shifting market demands, and competitive pressures. DOTP is currently trading at Rs.137/kg, down by Rs.3/kg from the previous rate of Rs.140/kg assessed on August 17. From July 23 to August 3, DOTP prices were rising, but this trend changed on August 5, and since then, DOTP prices have been steadily declining.
