There is a switch from DAP to NP and NPK by domestic phosphates manufacturers as DAP production continues to remain loss making

Even with the Rs 3500 per tonne special subsidy, at least one company has made it clear that it will not produce DAP based on imported phos acid and domestically produced or imported ammonia

DAP import is ruled out too
