Ranjit Rath talks tall but bigger opportunities are there in ONGC – 14 Jun 2024

Oil India Ltd's Ranjit Rath is no doubt a hard working CEO though he has developed a sweet-tongue approach to exaggerate his achievements

For example, his projections a an analyst meeting of OIL's oil & gas production over the next two years has been discounted by industry watchers and analysts alike, terming them unrealistic. But Rath has learned the languagee of talking tall and getting heard.

But there is no a bigger revolution happening in ONGC, a company at least 10 times larger than the one that Rath controls

So the scope in ONGC is higher to that extent for vendors and package suppliers

Here is an opportunity in ONGC, -- Rath had come out with a similar tender too a few months ago -- that is likely to see a lot of vendors participating
