Chemical giant’s earnings down due to lower soda ash prices – 1 May 2024

Subdued soda ash prices had a negative impact on the company's operating performance, resulting in a 54% reduction in consolidated EBITDA in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024 and a 21% year-over-year decline in total revenue, all of which added up to an adjusted net loss after tax of almost Rs. 1 billion
