India extends deadline for PE certification – 4 Apr 2023

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has provided relief to polyethene (PE) producers exporting to India by extending the quality control deadline

PE producers, mainly from Asia-Pacific, were concerned about their cargoes being seized at Indian ports if they were not compliant with BIS standards
