Gas based power is back in demand as temperatures begin to rise

There is a now a demand that priority gas allocationsfor the power sector, as the impact of high power tariffs, as it is argued that gas based power is expensive, will have a more deleterious impact than higher CGD prices

Is there a danger to the CGD companies that this government, given to quick and knee-jerk decision making as it is, will buy into this argument?

Also, for the benefit of our readers, we reproduce here the tariff structure of a sample gas based power station, and the end tariff can then be calculated by changing the price of gas at present.
