Chemical release from facility pauses production – 29 Mar 2023

Trinseo reported an accidental release of latex emulsion products due to equipment failure at their manufacturing facility in the US. The material flowed to the Delaware river but dissipated quickly in the water. Trinseo is working with authorities to assess potential impacts and make improvements. Production has temporarily stopped but is expected to resume soon. The facility produces acrylic resins and employs around 110 people.
