US company to close global epoxy facilities – 24 Mar 2023

Due to lower fourth-quarter results, a US chemical company is shutting down its plant in the Netherlands and solid epoxy resin production facilities in South Korea and Brazil. The company's net income decreased by 36% YoY to $197 million, and sales decreased by 19% YoY to $1.9 billion. The restructuring is an effort to address these challenges.
