India's textile sector plans to generate $350 billion in revenue and export $100 billion in textiles. To accomplish this, the government has developed many programs, including PLI and Mega textile parks. As part of this endeavour, the government has planned to move the textile commissioner's office to the Ministry of Textiles in New Delhi, to enhance effectiveness and achieve optimal use of resources.
