Alkalized jute yarns for polymer composite – 22 Mar 2023

Jute yarns of various counts were alkali-treated in this study in preparation for their use as reinforcing materials in composites. To enhance the interaction between the fibrous material and matrix, the alkali treatment conditions have been improved. It has been seen that various yarns respond in various ways.
