PLI: 27 companies signed up – 20 Mar 2023

Under the PLI Program for specialty steel, 27 companies signed 57 MoUs for eight product categories.

Out of 79 applications received from 35 steel-making companies, the ministry chose 67 from 30.

The PLI plan will attract Rs. 30,000 Crores in investment and will add approximately 25 Million Tonnes of specialty steel capacity over the next five years.
