A joint venture to produce p-xylene from C02 – 20 Mar 2023

HighChem, the University of Toyama, and Chiyoda Corporation successfully produced p-xylene from CO2 with cooperation from Nippon Steel Engineering, Nippon Steel Company, and Mitsubishi Corporation. The resultant p-xylene may be utilized in resins and chemicals, which benefits the environment by allowing carbon recycling and lowering CO2 emissions.
