Iron ore mining ops partially hit at India’s Godawari – 18 Mar 2023

Godawari Power and Ispat, an Indian pellet producer, experienced a setback when an overburden dump collapsed at its 2.35 million tonnes per year Ari Dongri mine, partially affecting its iron ore mining operations. However, the incident will not have an impact on the production of iron ore pellets since the plant has enough inventories of iron ore to last for several weeks.
