Demand increased by 9% for ethane in the US – 16 Mar 2023

Since 2010, US ethane output and consumption have increased in tandem with the expansion of US petrochemical capacity. In 2022, US ethane product supplied, a proxy for ethane consumption, averaged slightly under 2 million bpd, peaking at about 2.2 million bpd in July. Find out what the market forecasts.
