Guidelines for recycling plastic packaging waste – 14 Mar 2023

The Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 and its subsequent iterations provide guidelines for dealing with plastic waste in India. Single-use plastics with high littering potential will be banned beginning in July 2022. The Extended Producer Responsibility Guidelines aid in the development of a circular economy and recycling infrastructure.
