Asahi Kasei Pharma has launched a Phase 1 clinical study to assess the pharmacokinetics, pharmacological activity, safety, and tolerability of apraglutide, a next-generation, long-acting GLP-2 analog peptide when administered as a single subcutaneous dosage to healthy Japanese adults.
