Domestic gas prices may be linked to crude – 13 Mar 2023

From 1 April, India will implement a new domestic gas pricing scheme tied to crude oil prices. The plan might be approved by the cabinet soon. A committee suggested to the petroleum ministry in November that domestically generated natural gas be priced based on crude oil prices, with a minimum price of $4 per MMBtu and a ceiling price of $6.5 per MMBtu.
