Covestro TPU facility will the largest of its kind – 28 Feb 2023

The polymer company will build what will be the largest Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU) plant in China. The expansion will be completed in three stages, the first in late 2025 and the last in 2033, with a cumulative capacity 120,000 tonnes of TPU per year after the last phase of construction. With a total expenditure in the low three-digit million Euro area, it will also be Covestro’s largest investment in its TPU business.
