Mitsui and Celanese form a joint venture business – 27 Feb 2023

Celanese Corporation, a global chemical and speciality materials company, has signed two joint venture (JV) agreements with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. to expand their long-standing strategic cooperation to create food ingredients, as well as to extend the current Fairway Methanol LLC, which manufactures methanol at Celanese's Clear Lake facility, for an indefinite period. The current joint venture terms and ownership have been extended until 2045.
