Primary resin producers to abstain from raw material supply to SUP manufacturers – 29 Dec 2022

To ensure the effective implementation of the ban on single-use plastic (SUP), the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MOEF&CC) has ordered India’s 18 primary resin manufacturers to abstain from the supply of the plastic raw materials to the manufacturers of banned SUP items and print the precautionary instruction on each packet to prevent their misuse
