Chemfab Alkalis Ltd has a caustic soda plant in Pondicherry with a capacity of 155 TPD caustic soda plant and a 6000 MTPA PVC-O-Pipes Plant in Sricity (Andhra Pradesh).

What is produced is chlorine, hydrogen, sodium hypochlorite, and hydrochloric acid as by-products from the manufacture of caustic soda.

And the company seems to be doing very well indeed
